After dinner, why not mosey along to the Banana Discotheque at the Patong Beach Hotel. For some time now it has been regarded as one of the finest bars and discos in the area. The ground floor enables one to sit back comfortably and relax on sofas whilst the bar provides a huge choice of drinks, including cocktails. On the upper floor there is cool music to get you shaking on the dance floor. Extremely popular with tourists as the area is a famed drop-off and pick-up point for hotel transportation.

Irish Bar:
This genuine Irish Bar is a short walk up Beach Road (opposite Cabana Hotel). Look out for the Irish leprechauns guarding the entrance door to what is one of Patong's largest and liveliest bars. The Guinness is imported from Ireland and the spirits are served in traditionally large Irish measures. The beer is cold, the smiles warm, and the chitchat pure blarney. The Irish pub grub is pretty good too.

Over 50 exotic ladies spend the night dancing to the beat and entertaining you in that uniquely Thai way. Couples and ladies are as welcome as single gents, and you are guaranteed not to spend long sitting once the party mood catches on. Taipan:
Nobody seems to know why this bar has become the in-place in Patong Beach. It seemed to be on a downward spiral until two English lads with no previous bar experience took it over ? and they have not looked back since. It is packed to the rafters every night and even expansion into the building next door has not put paid to the heaving crowds. Enjoy live music, a well stocked bar and late night tasty snacks.
